The Construction Equipment Forum offers you the opportunity to sharpen your views on strategic topics of construction industry such as “New Drives”, “Digitization” and “Autonomization”.

Talk to the experts at eye level, network with the other participants and find partners for your projects. In addition, you can actively participate in workshops and personal discussions on the future topics of this production technology and inform yourself "hands-on" in the exhibition. Bring your questions with you and the exhibitors will be happy to answer them.


1. What are the event frame data & prices?
Date & time: Tuesday, 26 November 2019 (8:00 - 20:00) and Wednesday, 27 November 2019 (08:00 - 17:00)
Venue: Congress Center Rosengarten, Rosengartenpl. 2, 68161 Mannheim, Germany
Participation fee: For both days 1.480 €, for the first conference day 1.180 € and for the second conference day 1.080 €. (in each case plus VAT)

2. Do special conditions exist?
There are special conditions for university members and business groups. These are available on request.

3. By when are registrations possible at the latest?
Registrations can be made online until 25 November 2019. After this date, registration will only be possible directly at the event, payment method on site is credit card payment. We recommend an early registration, because some modules (e.g. the Pre-Networking Event or the Workshops) are limited in the number of participants.

4. What cancellation conditions exist?
If you cancel by 1st October 2019, we will refund the participation fee minus a processing fee of 100 €. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded. In this case, please send a representative to the ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING FORUM 2019. In case of cancellation of the conference by IPM AG, the paid participation fee will be refunded immediately. Further claims are excluded.

5. Is a hotel room included in the price?
The costs for accommodation as well as travel are to be borne by yourself.
The Dorint Hotel Mannheim has set up a contingent of rooms for you at special rates. With the keyword CEF19 you get a single room including breakfast for 175 EUR (subject to availability).

6. How do I get my participant ticket?
Participants will receive a confirmation email after booking. This represents the booking confirmation and is not the conference ticket. You will receive your conference ticket (in the form of a name badge) at the registration desk on the day of the conference upon presentation of your business card 


7. What does the ticket include?
A ticket for the entire conference includes participation in the following parts: 1.) keynotes, 2.) lectures and discussion forums of the Master Classes, 3.) workshops, 4.) panel discussions, 5.) visit of the innovation exhibition, 6.) evening reception on 26.11.2019, 7.) full catering during the coffee and lunch breaks. A separate session selection by the participants is required for the workshops. This will take place as part of participant registration.

8. How does the registration Workshop / Panel Discussion / World Café & Evening Reception work?
In the participant registration process, participation in a) evening reception, b) workshops, c) panel discussion and d) evening reception may be selected. Special feature of workshops: As several workshops will take place simultaneously, participants will be asked to indicate their preferred option when registering. The number of participants in the workshops is limited and therefore follows the principle "first come, first serve". It is therefore possible that participants will not be able to participate in the workshop of their choice if they register late. In principle, however, it is ensured that every participant can participate in one of the workshops or the parallel panel discussion.


9. In which language are the lectures held?
Official conference languages of the Construction Equipment Forum is German. All keynotes will be translated simultaneously into English.

10. Will the presentations be made available to the conference topics?
The presentations the speakers are made available on site via the mobile app and subsequently via a protected download area of the conference. If it should not be possible to make the presentations available to the participants for reasons of secrecy, we ask for your understanding.

11. What is the format of the workshop?
The workshops are characterised by an interactive format in which the participants in working groups weigh up the pros and cons of a thesis and present a joint conclusion. Participants participate in the discussion of the working groups as well as in the presentations of the results and decide for themselves which theses they would like to make a statement on.

12. In which language will the workshops be held?
The conference language of the workshops will be German.


13. What conference documents will I receive?
Participants will receive the Conference Guide published at the event. It contains all conference information, including the conference programme, exhibition plan, innovation guide, list of participants and much more. All presentations can subsequently be downloaded by the participants into a protected download area on the conference pages; subject to approval by the respective speaker.

14. Do I get access to the contact details of the speakers, experts and other participants?
All participants will receive a printed list of participants on site. The list of participants is intended for individual needs and contact development. In addition, the conference app offers the possibility of making direct contact with other participants immediately before and during the event.
